This week, we were excited to host one of the first stops on the AEM Manufacturing Express, an interactive tour celebrating American manufacturing and the innovative technologies, processes, and people driving our industries. Coinciding with our 110th anniversary celebration, we proudly displayed some of our own innovative products at our global headquarters alongside AEM and our dedicated employees. We were honored to also welcome local dignitaries and leaders, including Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse, who highlighted our contributions to the city, dating back to the 1950s, and the significant impact of the manufacturing industry throughout Minnesota. Thank you to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) for including us in their nationwide initiative to highlight the importance of manufacturing and its role in driving innovation, economic growth, and job creation across the country.

Today marks 110 years of innovation and excellence for The Toro Company. Celebrating innovation and sustainability in park management, we are excited to award the Rainier Community Center’s urban garden the $50,000 Toro Urban Park Innovation Award, supported by Toro distributor Turf Star Western and the City Parks Alliance. This initiative will transform a former landfill into a thriving urban garden, providing fresh, locally grown produce for the community and empowering local BIPOC members. Today, The Toro Company announced second quarter earnings results. Our team executed well in the quarter, achieving record net sales and delivering results aligned with our expectations. We realized exceptional growth in our residential segment driven by our strong mass channel, successful new product introductions and better weather compared to last year. We also saw strong growth in our underground and specialty construction, and golf and grounds businesses within our professional segment. Notably, we made significant progress in reducing dealer field inventories of lawn care products in both the residential and professional segment – a result of lower shipments to that channel, coupled with early spring retail momentum. We’re inspired by the dedicated volunteers who showed up this week to kickstart restoration efforts at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Lewiston, Maine, after a winter storm damaged the riverbank and several monuments. Through our partnership with the American Rental Association, we're honored to support projects like this and enrich the lives, land and communities we serve. It's a privilege to play a part in rebuilding this important memorial for the state of Maine and paying tribute to our veterans.

Another successful Tech Forum wrapped up last week at TTC headquarters, with over 300 employees coming together to connect, collaborate and inspire new product innovation through dynamic presentations and field day demos. Every day, we’re inspired by the passion of our technology teams as they continue to drive progress and fuel groundbreaking advancements together. The future of innovation is bright!
