Rain brings rainbows! Our S.T.A.R. respite staff turned a gloomy day into a fun-filled afternoon for program participants. Supervisor Deon McDougald and DSP Celeste Gilliam made the best of a recent rainy day by grabbing an umbrella and taking a short walk with the kids. Then they came inside to make a colorful rainbow craft. Thanks to our staff for coming up with creative and fun ways to keep our kids engaged, even on rainy days. ☔️🌈

July is Disability Pride Month! This observance began in 1990 to celebrate the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the landmark legislation that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities.
