Aaron graduated from Summit Academy last June. Through his hard work over the years, he’s improved his speech and communication skills. He’s also learned to be a better listener and to be more patient. Your gift will help the children and young adults we serve to thrive. Nico has shown tremendous growth as a student at Summit Academy. In September, Nico couldn’t be around his peers without being distressed. Now, he joins the group and interacts with other students. He even remains calm when another student is upset. Make your gift now at https://lnkd.in/exuECXYG to help students like Nico reach their greatest potential. Your donation could be doubled during this Power Hour sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York.

Give 716 continues today! Earlier this year, we welcomed 100 new students through the expansion of our special education school. Summit Academy now serves 450 students across five locations. But more than 200 children remain on our waitlist. In fact, we have significant waitlists across our educational and adult programs. Your donation will help us support more children and adults in need of these critical services. Plus starting at 8 a.m., the first 100 donors of $117.60 or more will receive Bills preseason tickets. Make your donation at https://lnkd.in/exuECXYG.

Rain brings rainbows! Our S.T.A.R. respite staff turned a gloomy day into a fun-filled afternoon for program participants. Supervisor Deon McDougald and DSP Celeste Gilliam made the best of a recent rainy day by grabbing an umbrella and taking a short walk with the kids. Then they came inside to make a colorful rainbow craft. Thanks to our staff for coming up with creative and fun ways to keep our kids engaged, even on rainy days. ☔️🌈
