In addition to the hands-on work experience our interns are receiving in audit and tax services, professional development sessions are integrated into the Summer Internship Program experience. Interns recently received a session led by Julian Dozier, CPA, THF Shareholder & Assurance Department Leader, who shared about the important work of the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and Legislative Advocacy. As a Past Chair of the organization (2022-2023), Julian provided some great insight for our interns about the great work the organization does on behalf of the accounting profession.
