Here are four strategies that can help employees better manage time blindness. 1. Use visual reminders. Put clocks everywhere and use a physical calendar. 2. Break down tasks. Seeing things step by step makes it easier to have a realistic time estimation. 3. Work for 15 minutes, then take a 5 minute break. Repeat. 4. Honest communication. Open up to others about your time blindness and ask for help. Follow us to learn more ways to improve accessibility in your workplace. #understood #ADHD #TimeBlindness #workplace

“Supporting neurodivergent talent has long been a passion of mine. My son lives with autism and ADHD, so I’ve seen and experienced firsthand how challenging the world can be for people who are neurodivergent. At Understood, my role as chief people and culture officer allows me to do some of the most rewarding work of my career.” Featured today in Bizwomen Understood.org’s Deborah Wilson, SPHR discusses the organization’s commitment to and importance of creating an accessible workplace for all employees, including those with learning and thinking differences like ADHD and dyslexia, so everyone can thrive.
