The company survived the early years by tackling challenging specialty contracting projects. That tradition continues today under the leadership of Frank’s grandson, Vaughn Veit. Project Profile: Industrial Cleaning, Big Lake, MN Midwest Tank Company recently partnered with Veit to clean a sunflower oil tank for Quaker, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, in Big Lake, MN. Veit utilized dry ice blasting to remove any remaining sand from the tank’s interior and then applied sunflower oil to the inside walls, ensuring the tank was perfectly prepped and ready for use.
