📸✨ Last Friday, Camp Vogel had an amazing adventure at the Dallas Zoo! 🐘🌳 Our campers had a blast exploring, learning about animals, and spending time together. Here are some highlights from our day: 1️⃣ We started our journey by observing the majestic African savanna elephants up close. The kids were fascinated by their size and grace! 🐘 2️⃣ Next, we headed to the Hippo Hut where we saw hippos lounging and relaxing. It was amazing to watch these gentle giants in their serene habitat. The kids were mesmerized! 🦛💤 3️⃣ Lunchtime was full of smiles, snacks, and fun conversations under the shady trees. Nothing beats sharing a meal with friends in the great outdoors! 🍔🥤 4️⃣ We ended our adventure with a visit to the giraffes. These tall, spotted friends really know how to make an impression! The campers couldn't stop laughing at their long necks and silly tongues. 🦒 A big thank you to all the Camp Vogel staff and volunteers who made this trip possible. Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic volunteer from the Houlihan Lokey summer intern group. He jumped into action, supporting our kitchen team by making sandwiches and cutting fruit. The rest of the group also contributed significantly by assisting with splash day and providing classroom support for our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program. We are incredibly grateful for their enthusiasm and dedication.
