Last Thursday, Wellnest transformed the City Club Los Angeles into a lively social club with our "Sip and Social"! Supporters and their friends mingled over cocktails and delicious appetizers while learning about Wellnest’s programs for children, young adults and families. The evening featured a brief presentation from Wellnest President & CEO Charlene Dimas-Peinado and concluded with an open invitation to join us at the Centennial gala on September 27th. 💚 This week, Dr. Lea Velez and four students from the Texas State University School of Social Work visited Wellnest. The group had a tour of our University Park building, therapy rooms, the family resource center, and they were kind to donate school supplies to our Back-to-School event on Jul 27th! 📚 💚 These visits promote fellowship among similar programs, and we have the opportunity to share information and best practices, which Wellnest highly values! This is the third year Dr Velez has visited Wellnest with students, and we look forward to continuing our partnership! #texasstateuniversity #wellnest #wellnestturns100
