On Thursday (6.20), Our Escondido team hosted local AWS (@americanweldingsociety) members for the FIRST meeting since student's member fees were covered by the Society -- it was an incredible turnout sponsored by Lincoln Electric (@lincolnelectric), Harris (@harrisproducts, A Lincoln Electric Company), and Black Stallion (@black.stallion.bsx). From welding and cutting demos to student giveaways and raffle prizes, guests enjoyed moments to network over tacos and refreshments WestAir remains proud to provide. These meetings foster a growing community with knowledge sharing and camaraderie -- the same community we began serving in 1970 and look forward to continue to serve for years to come. It was another beautiful day in Coachella Valley this weekend, and WestAir Gases & Equipment had the pleasure of participating in the golf tournament hosted by Visit Greater Palm Springs at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. We were honored to be a vendor at this event, which helps to raise money for college scholarships for local high schools throughout the Coachella Valley. Is hydrogen the future? We were one of the first to get into microbulk business with Chart because we felt it was the next big thing in our industry. Now, we are betting on hydrogen. We believe hydrogen will be big in the coming years, especially within transit agencies and large rigs (trucks). Westair has always tried to keep at the bleeding edge of new opportunities.
