The Sales Cloud has had a rough year. Lots of companies competing for niche point solution markets. Everyone has seen the criticisms. But it’s important to highlight the ones who are actually doing cool stuff and winning in the marketplace. 🏄♂️ Scott Leese Kevin "KD" Dorsey and I see it all, get pitched it all. And rarely do we agree. But I think we all agree on Lantern though I’ve really fallen for them. Love the product (we use it and have seen tangible attribution to revenue almost immediately) Love the founder, David Bromberg. And they’ve taken some of the concepts Introduced by Usergems and they’ve applied user intent to it, so all of your past customers and users can be revenue generators. Theyve built a pretty frickin cool compound software company. Call it Usergems 5.0. I’m sure there is a better catch line but that’s how I’d describe it We hammer the bad ideas. Let’s also celebrate those who get it right.

Career update: After 5.5 years at Enigma Technologies, Inc., my time as a full-time employee of Enigma has come to an end and I’ve transitioned to an advisor role. Working at Enigma has been an incredible ride and the single most meaningful professional experience to date. Thank you Hicham Oudghiri for all of the trust you put in me and for the opportunity to both lead and learn alongside you. And thank you to so many people who made Enigma such a great place to work the last 5.5 years Charles Zhu Ugurcan (John) Yarimkaya Karen Cundari Ryan Green James Edgar Arly C. Dungca Stephanie Spiegel Navya Konuru Lee Ann Murphy Dillon Gardner Eliza Cooke-Yarborough Abhinav Rai Jinghong Cui Ananya Shukla Tian Xie Paul Melby Brian Tesser (and of course so many others as well) I’m extremely proud of what we’ve built, and know the team will continue to accomplish amazing things in this next stage of Enigma’s journey. I wish I knew that the Lantern platform existed while I was at Enigma, because it would have solved so many of our problems trying to efficiently build pipeline. More to come in a follow up post about the Lantern product - let’s just say the product is already powerful and we’re barely scratching the surface of what this amazing platform can do.
