Recently we had the opportunity to share our insights with refiners attending GRPC 2024, held in New Delhi June 27-28. On June 19, Grace employees across the U.S. hosted special events sponsored by our Black Employee Resource Group (BERG) to celebrate Juneteenth. At Grace sites from California to Louisiana to Texas, Chicago, Michigan and Maryland, team members came together to encourage a deeper understanding of the ongoing fight for justice and equality. Ephraim Nehemiah, award-winning writer, educator and poet, captivated live and virtual audiences through their performance poetry. Employees also enjoyed delicious foods and desserts from Black owned businesses including two businesses local to our Columbia HQ: SmokeDatt Barbecue and Sistah’s Sweets.
