    We’ve heard you loud and clear: our plans aren’t working for your needs. Starting today, we’re excited to share three BIG changes to help you get the most out of Zapier. 1️⃣ More Zaps: Build as many Zaps as you want on the Free and Starter Plans. We’re removing the limits of five and 20 Zaps, respectively. This means *every* plan offers unlimited Zaps. 2️⃣ More flexible: Pay-per-task billing when you go above your plan’s limit, for all plans. Now, if you go over your plan’s task limit, you can pay-as-you-go for additional tasks used. 3️⃣ More valuable: Filter, Formatter, and Paths by Zapier no longer count as tasks. We want you to build your Zaps the way you want to. This makes your advanced workflows much more cost-effective. For a long time, we've worked hard to innovate on our products, but we haven't done enough to innovate on price. Today is the first step in making Zapier more valuable to our customers.

    Today, Zapier launched the first and only digital energy drink, ZAP, AI in a can. Simply crack and pour to bestow the power of AI automation to your computer, and let the magic happen. If you can’t already tell, ZAP is a fake business we created to demystify Zapier’s AI product suite while also giving our audience the tools they need to turn their curiosity into action. The cool thing is, I was able to use each of Zapier’s AI products to help launch this fake business. Throughout the campaign development, I used Tangy Task Assistants (AKA Zapier Central), as my personal assistant. This tool was indispensable over the three-month creation period, serving as a central resource to reference and collaborate with on building each campaign component. Every business, even the fake ones, needs customer support. I used Chatty Cherry Blast (AKA Zapier Chatbots) to serve as a humorous, ZAP customer service bot on the microsite to extend the campaign joke across a new medium while also furthering users through the fake decision-making funnel. This fake business had a lot of moving pieces—varying email nurture streams, IRL drink + swag distribution, cross-channel promotion, and more. Very Berry Visualizer (aka Zapier Canvas) helped me visualize all Zapier automations so I could keep my fake business operations streamlined. To prove out the effectiveness of this very weird, very risky campaign, we needed to make sure each individual who engaged with the campaign continued to be nurtured after the campaign ended. I used Wild Kiwi Workflow (AKA Zapier Copilot) to set up a Brilliant integration to ensure that every user who signs up for a free sample or to receive updates on new ZAP flavors is added to an AI-focused nurture stream. This campaign was a labor of love and a testament to the power of AI in streamlining and enhancing our creative processes.     At Zapier, we refreshed our definition of individual performance to better emphasize experimentation. Incentiviging folks to keep taking risks is essential as a team grows. But it's easier said than done. So you can imagine my delight when I saw a preview of our marketing team's first-ever experiential brand campaign, "ZAP, AI in a Can." Here's the concept: ZAP is the first-ever digital energy drink that users can ‘pour’ on their computer to fuel it to work harder. To support the promotion of this fictional product, our brand team made hilarious 90’s inspired infomercials, a microsite featuring a ZAP-branded Chatbot where folks can learn all about each ZAP flavor, IRL energy drinks that tie back to each of our AI products, sweet swag for anyone to “claim their free sample,” and more. Each component is designed to demystify AI in a playful, engaging way. This campaign is unlike anything you would expect from a B2B software brand. And I love that our team just went for it.
