How do you develop emotional intelligence and change agility?
As an avid road cyclist I believe athletics (whatever you are into) can help us draw analogies that bring perspective to EI and CA. The largest differential between mental and physical well being is that physical well being is so much easier to self-diagnose in the moment. Pedal cadence and gearing allow a cyclist to tap different muscles and adjust our cardiovascular system depending on the terrain. That is hard to accomplish mentally & emotionally unless you employ the strategies outlined here within and train yourself to be mindful, reflective, and set a cadence that you know works for you personally to manage situations, challenges and change. Developing an EI "cadence" gives you the ethos to develop CA by shifting gears as needed!
