“Kati is an extraordinary leader of people, and beyond that an extraordinary leader and mentor of other leaders. Through hard-won and carefully-chosen specialized skills and knowledge, she brings tools and practices to bear on a personal, day-to-day basis that might otherwise never reach a learner, and certainly wouldn’t reach her/him as fast or as RIGHT. I can think of examples from her understanding and use of SLII (Situational Leadership) to her vast and flexible skill with Korn/Ferry’s Lominger competencies and their application. Kati takes an approach to People Development and to Adult Learning that I particularly admire; Tools are for EVERYone to use, and she wants to help a learner understand them, Research can be for EVERYone’s benefit, and she’ll help to interpret it and make it accessible. It’s an egalitarian approach that, frankly, I wish more leaders and trainers would take; that is, Kati shares without Ego, and manages without blame. In the spaces of Learning and Development, it’s hard to think of someone better positioned to lead a team using her own knowledge and experience but also an organization’s real KPIs and data; what Kati has cultivated along with her understanding of science is an understanding of data. Kati would accurately be described as a data maven, spreadsheet-ninja, and someone who learns from reality. ”
