“PJ joined our design system team at PayPal as our manager. Since the first moment, PJ shined with his leadership skills by not only leading the execution and development of multiple projects but also managing to take care of the wellbeing of all team members, taking time to know each one of us. I admire his willingness to always advocate for the best, not just work-related but also for the people involved. He always empowered us to make the right decisions and he supported the work and initiatives we proposed. All these qualities make him a great manager. During the time we worked together, I learned a lot of valuable lessons and a lot more about design systems, I truly appreciated all the good things that PJ brought to the team. I hope we have a chance to keep working together in the future.”

What are some effective strategies to proofread your own writing?
This suggestion is highly dependent on what you're trying to communicate and how - but I'm going to throw it out there anyways. I try to read my writing through the lens of imagining it's something I'd be saying to someone directly. If my writing doesn't sound like something that would come directly out of my mouth, I revise accordingly.

What are the latest usability testing trends and tools for User Experience Design?
Usability heuristics can devolve into a fancy way of saying, "I have no grounds for this decision, but I like it". Yes, experience matters and yes, our instinct has value. But both can lead folks down some weird roads if not gut checked with more empirical evidence. Heuristics are a great way to kick off the design process. But if you ask me, they're not a great way to end it.
