    Adapted Mask-RCNN to the retail domain where it can be used to identify different grocery items like boxes, bottles and bags from images of retail shelving and refrigerators.

  • Affective Computing Based Vehicle Safety System

    Developed an affective computing based safety system for our final year thesis. System was capable of detecting human facial expressions and appropriately acting upon a simulation of a car. Extracted facial features using Gabor filters. Trained several binary Boost and SVM classifiers to recognise several emotions coded using the Facial Action Coding System (FACS).
