Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs. General Accountabilities include:

Warehouse:

• Directing the work activities of employees as directed by Supervisor
• Training of employees
• Provide input on disciplinary issues
• Exceptional sanitation
• Food Safety / Food Defense
• Fair and professional treatment of all associates
• Monitoring breaks and lunches
• Controlling housekeeping activities
• Building inspection/GMP/ inventory/ OSD control
• Expected to help cover for the Supervisors vacation and PTO
• Other duties as assigned
• Help with CSR functions
• Working together as with management team
  
  
  

Yard:

• Ensuring yard checks are complete at all facilities at the beginning of each shift.
• Providing visibility to trailer issues in the yard including, but not limited to reefers waiting extensively to get unloaded, trailers with damage in the yard that need repair (red tagging and updating Manager).
• Daily communication with warehouse, local and driver leadership on tasks and issues needing resolution.
• Ensuring updates on reefer issues, fuel levels, or other yard issues or maintenance items needing attention.
• Coaching and training of drivers & yard operators on correct safety, work process, and Policy.
  
  
  

Prerequisites:

• High School Diploma ( or equivalent)
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience Operating Forklift or Pallet Jacks
• Previous Experience with RF Controlled Inventory Systems
• Previous Experience Handling Food Products (a plus)
