InfraHire is looking for an Accounting Manager in Sarasota, FL.

Job Description

  • Handling credit/cash applications
  • Monitoring customer account balances and collections
  • Processing credit card transactions and sales authorizations
  • Entering supplier and purchase invoices for expenses and material receipts
  • Processing supplier payments via check, ACH, wire transfers, and credit cards
  • Recording daily bank transactions and reconciling between bank and ledger
  • Ensuring proper utilization of bank line of credit
  • Performing month-end bank reconciliation and cash forecasting
  • Processing due to/from invoices between sister and parent companies
  • Managing biweekly payroll processing through a third-party web-based application
  • Coordinating with third-party providers for annual renewals and new employee onboarding
  • Assisting with annual workers' compensation audits
  • Providing weekly sales updates, analysis, and dashboard reporting
  • Generating cost estimates for new products
  • Periodically reviewing existing product costs
  • Determining selling prices in coordination with the company president
  • Reviewing and processing inventory adjustments
  • Handling journal entries, depreciation schedules, accruals, and prepaid expense
  • Collaborating with the parent company on analytical review and budget preparation
  • Calculating, filing, and remitting monthly and quarterly sales tax returns across four states
  • Offering recommendations for enhancing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Participating in the annual audit, including coordinating year-end physical inventory
  • Overseeing all monthly salesperson updates, commission calculations, and report generation
  • Preparing and filing 1099 forms and tangible personal property returns
