Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager for a local Healthcare company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting department and providing financial updates towards the end of the financial close process. This role requires excellent analytical skills, SAP program expertise, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage general accounting functions, including the creation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
3. Deliver high-quality, efficient financial statement reviews.
4. Collaboratively work with the accounting team through the financial close process.
5. Provide earnings updates and other necessary financial reports during the final three days of financial close.
6. Initiate, monitor, and manage financial systems and accounting policies to stay in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
7. Assist with both internal and external audits, providing all necessary information and justification.
8. Foster an environment of continuous improvement in delivering financial data and reports.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. CPA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
2. Demonstrated experience in an Accounting Manager role or similar, ideally within the Healthcare industry.
3. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
4. Strong understanding of accounting systems, practices, and principles.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage a team towards deadlines.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
