Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our client, a well-established and highly reputable real estate firm, is seeking an AP Manager. This person would be responsible for overseeing AP processes, while managing one other employee.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and meticulously review journal entries for precision.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration into the payment system.
• Thoroughly review and validate employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Execute weekly check runs and process ACH payments in an efficient and organized manner.
• Manage vendor relationships and address inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard financial transactions and prevent discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable procedures.
• Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable to support decision-making processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• 5+ years of AP supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processing
• Proficient with accounting software and paperless accounting programs.
