Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  3. Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Manage vendor relationships, including resolving issues, negotiating terms, and addressing inquiries.
  5. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  6. Develop and maintain efficient accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.
  7. Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues, improve processes, and support organizational goals.
  9. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
  10. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
