Culmen International is actively recruiting Administrative Assistants to offer administrative assistance to the Directorate and Senior Leadership within the Government program offices of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The role demands exceptional professionalism, performance, and responsibility. The Administrative Assistant will be part of a dynamic Expeditionary Operations Travel team, overseeing deployment and travel procedures, and should possess a mission-driven outlook and excellent customer service skills.
Computer skills with proficiency working across the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Management of calendars and documentation using a shared portal such as SharePoint
Experience supporting government travel and understanding of Defense Travel System (DTS) and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
Prior experience working with a centralized routing and tasking system such as N-CERTS
Working knowledge of standard office equipment (copiers, scanners, facsimile, teleconference/videoconferencing equipment)
Experience with planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events including providing assistance to visitor personnel
Ability to prioritize workload and coordinate with multiple resources
Strong verbal communication skills to articulate and exchange information (requirements, actions, status, etc.)
Strong written communication skills, command of English language grammar, and the ability to produce correspondence such as emails, letters, documents and other materials following office templates and formats
Strong customer service skills interacting with internal/external personnel
Understanding of sensitive document handling and compliance with a “clean desk” work environment
Typing speed of 45 WPM minimum
Prior experience supporting NGA
