Our client is an industry leading technology firm in the financial services sector, their state of the art trading platforms are used by both brokers and dealers to facilitate the trading of securities both in the United States and abroad. They are looking to hire an Application Support Engineer to work the night shift from 8:00 pm – 4:00 am Sunday through Thursday. This is a fully remote position but they want someone in the NYC area.
Job Title: Linux/Cloud Engineer

Required Skills And Responsibilities
3-5 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting applications
Support and administer trading system applications
Monitor network connections and trade flow
Strong with scripting-either Python or Perl
Experience with Linux command line
Knowledge of SQL
FIX trade support and connectivity troubleshooting
Nice To Have Skills
TCP/UDP troubleshooting
Cloud support-preferably AWS
Supporting production systems hosting real time trading applications.
BS in computer science
Compensation
Salary is based on experience with a target of $120,000-150,000
