Audi Warranty Administrator

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the administration and processing of warranty claims to ensure that the dealership receives proper credit for warranty repairs. This role involves detailed record-keeping, effective communication with manufacturers, and ensuring compliance with warranty policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warranty Claim Processing:
    • Accurately process all warranty claims in a timely manner.
    • Verify and correct claim coding and accuracy to meet manufacturer guidelines.
    • Submit claims to the manufacturer or warranty provider.
    • Monitor warranty receivables and ensure timely payment.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate warranty records.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is obtained and filed according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
    • Track and report warranty claims status and issues.
  • Communication:
    • Act as the liaison between the dealership, manufacturer, and customers regarding warranty claims.
    • Communicate effectively with service technicians, advisors, and management to gather necessary information for claims.
    • Respond to manufacturer queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Compliance and Training:
    • Stay current with manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and updates.
    • Provide training to service staff on warranty procedures and guidelines.
    • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and dealership warranty policies.
  • Customer Service:
    • Assist customers with warranty inquiries and issues.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective and timely communication.
    • Handle warranty-related complaints and escalate as necessary.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warranty administration role within the automotive industry.
  • Previous Audi experience preffered
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures and warranty policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and warranty claim software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
