Our unique law firm is looking for a detail-oriented and conscientious individual to work within all facets of the billing and collection function. Working with the Finance Director and/or Partners to proactively administer their billing responsibilities, preparation, and processing of timely and high-quality invoices, and monitoring and follow-up on outstanding receivables. Responsibilities:
Perform client billing and collection activities for assigned clients in a timely manner.
Meet with the Finance Director, Finance Assistant, and/or partners to discuss monthly billing.
Generate Proformas for Finance Director to review.
Review Proformas and ensure time entries are in accordance with client policies.
Edit draft invoices based on Finance Director's/Partners mark-up, in accordance with firm policies/procedures.
Track status of bills submitted, identify issues, and work to address these issues as they arise.
Communicate situations as they arise that may require follow-up.
Experience Required:
2+ years’ billing/accounting experience in a law firm or medical office.
MS Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
Ability to multitask and prioritize. Detail-oriented and conscientious.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.
Ability to adapt well to new assignments and deadlines.
