Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Full-Charge Bookkeeper. Responsibilities include preparing accounting and financial reports, recording financial transactions in all ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries as needed. Additionally, you will be performing general accounting duties and preparing payroll and sales/use tax returns.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of bookkeeping experience
Expertise in QuickBooks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other computerized software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with diverse personalities and work well in a team environment
Professional demeanor with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and conducts thorough self-reviews before submitting work to management
Prior experience in public accounting is preferred
Successful completion of the firm's bookkeeping exam and a background check are required
Job Type: Part-time hourly position, initially 15-20 hours per week with potential for full-time
Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday (PST), with a flexible schedule
