Orion Solutions is collaborating with a leading domestic transportation provider to find a highly motivated and outcome-oriented Business Development Director who will be responsible for managing the dedicated line of business across the US. This position prioritizes insightful selling tactics to build new business relationships and increase revenue. The Business Development Director will oversee the entire sales cycle, coordinate internal resources, and develop action plans for new business contracts. The focus is on understanding clients' challenges and presenting logical solutions
Range: $110-120K plus commission

- Plan and execute direct prospecting activities to close new business and surpass annual sales revenue and gross margin goals.
- Manage the sales process, this includes negotiating and finding dynamic and creative solutions for customers.
- Update work file registers of sales targets and planning to keep an eye on focus areas, sales activity and overview of projects.
- Build meaningful cross functional relationships with clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, services, and competitor activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of five years of Transportation/Logistics sales experience.
- Private Fleet, Flatbed, and Refrigerated strongly preferred.
- Excellent prospecting skills that deliver new business.
- Financial management and problem analysis skills.
- Valid driver's license and meet DMV record standards.
