Minimum five (5) years' experience of increasingly responsible office-related experience, to include office management, and minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Job Purpose
Reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle and Operations Practice Manager to provide client registration training, consultation, analysis, quality control measures, key performance indicators, internal audit results, performance measures, business leadership and guidance to all ten (10) county Outpatient Clinic. Responsible for quality control and standardization practices among point of entry activities associated with client registration, scheduling, clinical activities, EMR, point-of-sale collections and relative key performance indicators. Will supervise Business Service Assistants and liaison with Program Directors to support these activities.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability: (include materials and equipment directly used):
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between Mind Springs Health sites. May be exposed to stressful situations that involve enraged, distraught and/or intoxicated individuals with possible mental disorders. Possible potential for exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- $55,000 base rate + experience

- Customer Service skills.
- Understanding of CPT codes, HCPS codes, ICD-9s, DSM, and DRGs.
- Understanding of electronic clinical record development and charge-entry interface.
- Understanding Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, contractual and third party authorizations and billing processes, methods, and business rules.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI rules and business practices.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable activities, cash application, and cash receipt posting/controls.
- Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to exercise frequent independent judgment and initiative.
- Ability to effectively assign, prioritize, and direct the work assignments and scheduling of those business staff reporting to this position.
- Ability to compose correspondence, reports, and personnel-related documents with little or no supervision. Ability to travel from one office to another, or to other locations, to attend meetings or run errands.
