As a Carrier Sales Representative in our startup environment, you'll immerse yourself in the fast-paced brokerage realm, devising cost-effective logistics solutions to meet our customers' needs. You'll cultivate relationships with carriers, manage your portfolio, and drive growth through constant communication and innovative issue resolution. At Freight Plus, you'll embark on a journey to master the transportation industry with our comprehensive training program.

- Develop and build on negotiations skills
- Negotiate pricing for both spot and contracted freight
- While covering freight, become a master communicator on any potential service disruptions
- Daily KPIs to be met like Outbound calls, on-time service, proactive tracking and more.
- Strategically source carrier capacity from internal and external databases
- Analyze market trends and capacity fluctuations to inform decision-making
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and self-motivation to achieve sales targets
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and performance-driven environment
- Driven by personal growth and motivated by achieving results
- Previous sales or some carrier sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a knack for building rapport
- Capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities
