The Company: Our client is a proved Private-equity firm with a comprehensive strategy to acquire, merge & grow a new firm focused in the Industrial Automation space - most likely Engineering Services (i.e. Systems Integration) and/or custom automated machinery manufacturing.

The PE firm will partner with a proven industry executive to seek out Automation firm(s) to acquire, integrate & aggressively develop into a dominant market leader.

Credentials: The ideal CEO will utilize their proven expertise & industry reputation for:

• Industrial Automation technology - delivering Manufacturing solutions
• Full P&L responsibility (as CEO or President) - with Board reporting relationships
• Value-creation Strategy development & execution
• Multi-year organic growth, with a diverse network of Manufacturing end-markets
• Deal-making: success in deal sourcing, M&A, integration, divestitures, etc...
• Above-market EBITDA growth through various business cycles
• Prior leadership experience in a PE-backed enterprise (preferred)

Industry: Viable candidates will have direct Industrial Automation sector experience & success at an executive level providing engineered solutions to Industrial customers. The most competitive candidate(s) will be reputable past-CEO's who are well-known and respected amongst their peer group and have potential acquisition targets already in mind!

Location: US (open) - with extensive travel and/or eventual relocation if necessary.

Compensation: AFTER the 1st platform acquisition - which can easily take 12 months of effort before direct compensation begins: Base Salary, Annual Bonus & aggressive long-term Equity potential as the enterprise grows.

Timeline: The search, evaluation & acquisition processes typically extend over a 6-12 month period - and can take longer than a year to result in a formal CEO role being established. As such, any candidates seeking an immediate CEO role (with commensurate salary) may not fit within the timeline for this particular opportunity.
