Based in any of our US offices, the litigation client development coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the business development and visibility initiatives and priorities for their assigned practices and lawyers. As part of a team, this role will work closely with the relevant client development manager (and specialist where applicable) on client development and marketing initiatives to drive the growth of our business and support the lawyers with their marketing initiatives.


For a select group of litigation practices, the client development coordinator will be responsible for providing support on collateral materials including the creation of pitch documents, brochures, attorney biographies, matter descriptions and other content. Along with the relevant client development manager, the client development coordinator will also assist in supporting visibility and client relationship management activities including conferences, sponsorships and client facing events. This role will also work closely with the other client development coordinators to provide additional support on team infrastructure and broader department projects as needed.


This role reports to the Senior Client Development Manager for Industries.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development of collateral materials, such as practice group descriptions, attorney biographies, practice area capability statements, and web content.
  • Support the creation and formatting of marketing pitches and proposal materials, ensuring content accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with profile-raising activities for assigned practices and attorneys, including events, webinars, community involvement, conferences, and professional associations.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for firm-hosted events, including seminars, client receptions, and webinars. Coordinate with the special events team to manage invitations, CLE accreditation materials, and registration details.
  • Support the execution of sponsorship deliverables and assist with attorney presentations for speaking engagements.
  • Maintain and update pitch tracking, reporting, mailing lists, and other data points within the CRM system.
  • Ensure organized file maintenance in the Document Management System (DMS) and update case information in the litigation database.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient project management and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary and flexibility in schedule.


Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional certifications or coursework in marketing, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in professional services, preferably within a law firm or legal department.
  • Experience in supporting business pitches and understanding of legal practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., InterAction, Salesforce) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $70-80k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
