We are seeking a professional to join a 5-month remote contract working on the State of NC Medicaid System. The individual will collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance population health outcomes in North Carolina.
Key Qualifications
Knowledge of clinical standardized code systems such as CPT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
Understanding of data quality best practices, governance, and security requirements.
Familiarity with health information exchange data standards, Electronic Health Record Systems' data architecture, and HL7 v2 and C-CDA messages.
Experience with clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, and data quality management.
Proficiency in analyzing processes, documenting requirement specifications, and developing clinical workflows.
Awareness of IT architectural principles and technical designs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in engaging with non-technical clients.
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory compliance concerning Electronic Health Record (EHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, including Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to contribute effectively as a team member on project teams.
