The Mount Saint Mary College Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe and routine shuttle transportation for the Student Population at the College. The driver will operate a College-Owned 15 passenger van and travel along an approved route transporting students from Mount Saint Mary College to various businesses within the Newburgh/Beacon Area.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for driving/operating a College-Owned vehicle, providing safe and efficient transportation for MSMC students.
Responsible for following a specific route, transporting students to and from Mount Saint Mary College to services located in the Newburgh/Beacon area.
Responsible for making sure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Conduct visual safety inspection of vehicle prior to operations to ensure safety of students and driver.
Responsible for reporting any issues and/or accidents to the immediate supervisor and maintaining records of travel and operations.
Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the operation of the vehicle or the students’ safety to the Director of Student Engagement.
Requirements
Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
Minimum of two (2) years driving experience required.
High School/Equiv. Diploma.
Must be willing to work the designated shift assigned, including evenings & weekends.
Must be dependable, flexible, and punctual.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must be willing to work in a non-office environment.
