Position Overview

Construction Manager Job Description

The Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires a strong Project Manager with experience in Commercial Construction and the ability to lead a team of contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate and supervise all phases of construction, from planning to completion
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors to ensure project success
• Manage and evaluate contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Handle any issues or delays that arise during construction
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Experience with commercial construction projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with construction software and tools
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
