Commercial Insurance Account Executive - Construction

About the Role

As the Commercial Insurance Account Executive your top priority is client engagement and account servicing for a growing team that will become the epicenter of a Top 25 independent insurance broker’s construction practice group in the Mountain West region. The team is still developing, so expect early on to put your senior account management experience to use. As the next 6-12 months unfold, you’ll balance in-the-weeds client service work with strategic Account Executive responsibilities, even participating in discussions about the overarching client support model.

• Strengthen business partnerships
• Maximize opportunities for successful new business onboarding
• Address critical risk management issues
• Identify coverage gaps and coverage enhancements
• Prepare for renewals including presentation design and delivery

Skills & Experience

• Minimum five (5) years of commercial property and casualty experience in a a senior account manager and/or Account Executive capacity with responsibility for client service deliverables, relationship management, and marketing
• Extensive experience working with construction accounts
• Active state insurance license

Job Specs

This role supports a Colorado based team. Candidates residing outside of Colorado and working 100% remotely should expect monthly travel for client and team meetings. The company is open to qualified applicants in the Mountain West, Southwest, and Central States regions.

For Denver based applicants a hybrid schedule is preferred but there are flexibility and commuting considerations.
