Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for their next Compensation Manager to join their strong HR team! This role is ONSITE in Jericho, Long Island.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$150k + 10% Bonus (DOE)

Position Overview

The Compensation Manager manages the group’s compensation programs and ensures they are aligned with the market and support the company’s talent strategy. The ideal Compensation Manager candidate can contribute to the design of executive compensation plans and company incentive programs. Experience with salary and hourly employees is a PLUS.

Responsibilities Of The Compensation Manager

  • Creating compensation programs that establish pay grades and criteria for raises
  • Developing new benefits programs to increase total compensation for employees
  • Researching market trends to evaluate the competitiveness of salaries
  • Reviewing, evaluating and revising compensation programs regularly
  • Conducting surveys to assess employee satisfaction with pay and benefits
  • Advising managers and supervisors about matters related to pay
  • Aligning compensation programs with recruitment strategies to attract quality candidates
  • Complying with federal, state, and local compensation laws, such as minimum wage regulations

Qualifications For The Compensation Manager

  • 5+ years experience in compensation, including designing, managing, and implementing compensation plans and programs
  • 2 to 3+ years experience in executive compensation, including designing, managing, and implementing compensation plans and programs
  • Experience in supporting hourly compensation, exempt compensation, and incentive compensation
  • Demonstrated success in supporting change management and improving processes

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a similar field of study is required
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credentials is highly preferred
