Compensation
Ensures alignment of compensation programs with Gordon Brothers values and business objectives.
Monitors compensation industry trends and best practices. Develops strategy, philosophy and policies in consultation and partnership with CHRO, HRBPs and consulting partners as needed.
Use Workday to maintain the global compensation structure including job profiles, salary ranges, compensation grades & grade profiles, and bonus plans.
Rapidly evaluates new positions using a market-pay approach and determine management level and salary grade. Leverages Pay Factors/Pay Scale for ad-hoc queries.
Administers the annual compensation process including merit increases, promotions, and bonuses.
Partners with finance and HRBPs.
Partners with HRIS to ensure systems set-up, testing, communication, enhancements, etc. and in partnership with finance.
Manages total compensation statements and promotion letters.
Maintains documents for all compensation plans including commission, bonus, LTIP, etc.
Partners with HRBPS to prepare and administer and monitor voluntary and involuntary separations including:
Employee Customer Service including communications and severance agreements.
Maintain and file employee separation records.
Partner with payroll and ITS.
Manage unemployment requests.
Other Responsibilities
Customer Service - respond to employee questions regarding compensation/payroll.
Partnership:
HRIS - ensure successful integration of all compensation programs and annual compensation events.
Payroll - ensure successful integration of new compensation post annual cycle.
HRBPs – education re: compensation processes, tools and structure.
Uploads any non-automated employee-related documents to Workday (PIP, Compensation changes, etc.)
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Workday Professional certification preferred.
At least six years relevant, global compensation experience.
Experience leading the redesign and implementation of compensation programs, benchmarking base pay programs, conducting job evaluations, and developing and implementing short- and long-term incentive programs, including equity.
Experience with HRMS with and meaningful analysis and reporting.
Financial or professional services experience preferred.
Workday experience highly preferred.
Experience partnering with an Executive Leadership team.
