The Contract Specialist is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts. They ensure compliance with legal requirements, analyze potential risks, and maintain organized records.
Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
Review and update existing contracts.
Design standardized language and guidelines for contracts.
Identify potential risks contract changes may pose to the organization.
Collaborate with procurement, legal, and human resources teams to ensure contracts' compliance.
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.
Share contract processes, conditions, and details with management, business partners and employees as needed.
Review contracts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.
Liaise between parties regarding contract development, negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
