Corporate Compensation Analyst

The Position: The Corporate Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in our organization's success by ensuring that our compensation and rewards programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing the company's compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining our salary structures and pay grades.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages are competitive within our industry and region.
  • Analyze and interpret compensation data to make recommendations for salary adjustments, bonuses, and incentive programs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive compensation reports and dashboards to assist in decision-making.
  • Create and maintain salary structures and pay grades that align with the organization's compensation philosophy.
  • Periodically review and update job descriptions and classifications to ensure accurate and consistent job pricing.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with pay equity and other relevant laws.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to link compensation to performance through merit-based salary increases and bonus programs.
  • Provide guidance on performance appraisal and recognition initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential compensation data.
  • Prepare and present reports and analyses to HR and senior management.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of existing salary structures and pay grades.
  • Recommend adjustments and improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in compensation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in compensation analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Travel: None.
