Corporate Controller, 175K-195K (Plano)

Addison Group is partnered with a private equity owned company based in North DFW. This person will manage a large team and be responsible for oversight of the corporate accounting, financial reporting functions, and coordinating with externals auditors. This company has seen rapid growth both organically and through recent acquisitions.

This opportunity is located in Plano and is highly hybrid (3:2). This position can pay between 175K-195K + bonus.

Responsibilities:

• This role reports to the CFO
• Lead and support the accounting team of 15; help with development through ongoing performance management, career development, training, and mentoring
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statement packages including creating and posting journal entries recorded to the general ledger, review of general ledger
• Ensure the completion of timely and accurate month-end closing process
• Play a leading role in projects focused on process enhancement, and the implementation of accounting software.
• Address and resolve concerns with various departments such as Admin, IT, and Marketing, providing solutions to financial and accounting queries.
• Offer timely and updated technical accounting advice to the accounting, finance, and general business departments, addressing queries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies conformity with GAAP
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring that invoices are submitted and processed in a timely manner and that payments are received in accordance with the lease terms

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting experience
• 3+ years of accounting management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• CPA Required, highly preferred
• Public Accounting experience highly preferred
