Job Description

As a Corporate & Franchise Real Estate Development Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic leadership and execution within our real estate development initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the establishment of new traditional restaurants, fuel stations, travel centers, and franchise restaurant developments, all geared towards profitable and sustainable growth while maintaining an accelerated pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market development efforts to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) goals.
  • Spearhead all aspects of development across various sectors, including traditional restaurants, Frosty Carts, fuel stations, Military, Transportation, and Universities.
  • Drive execution against the company's US market plan by collaborating with growth partners, ensuring market prioritization, and strategizing asset management.
  • Direct and facilitate real estate transactions, including negotiations, approvals, and franchise portfolio reviews.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between field operations and corporate headquarters, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Company or Franchise community on all real estate-related matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in market planning, site selection, negotiation, and construction management within the retail real estate development sphere.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in franchise and/or corporate real estate environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred; familiarity with GIS analytics, Oracle, and real estate-related tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD $150,000.00 to USD $250,000.00 per year.
  • Target annual bonus: 25% of annualized base salary, based on company and personal performance.
