Job Description
We are currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Cost Accountant at RoseRyan, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting cost data to support decision-making processes and optimize cost efficiencies for our clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze cost data to determine the actual cost of production and services provided
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine the effect on costs
Prepare and present cost accounting reports and findings to clients and stakeholders
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions
Participate in month-end closing process and account reconciliations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiencies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
