The Credit Analyst will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, including monitoring and analyzing customer accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, and working with customers to resolve outstanding payments. The candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor customer accounts and identify delinquent accounts
Maintain agings with less than 1% over sixty days
Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding payments
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to improve collections
Analyze AR aging reports and other financial data to identify trends and areas of concern
Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure timely payments
Prepare and present reports to management regarding AR status and collections progress
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions
Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of the AR function

Education & Experience
2+ years’ experience
Must be a ‘hands-on’ individual who possesses strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Experience within a manufacturing environment a plus
Advanced computer skills, particularly Excel.

Must have intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and Email.
English Language Skills
Ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, and ERP manuals and procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
