Deposit Portfolio Manager (AVP) - Hybrid in Midtown!

A commercial banking client of mine is looking to bring on an AVP - Deposit Portfolio Manager to join their team!!!

Direct Hire - Hybrid (3 days in Midtown) - 100-140k base

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working with banking deposit products, ideally overseeing an institutional or commercial banking portfolio
• Strong knowledge of deposit products and customer compliance, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of Treasury Management/Wholesale Banking segments

Responsibilities:

• Oversee client deposit portfolios to ensure alignment with specified deposit volume strategies. Review compliance profiles and recommend necessary remediation.
• Work with teams from Treasury, Finance, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Legal to carry out functions and improve processes across the bank.
• Develop strategies to grow the Institutional Banking business within a framework that ensures long-term deposit growth.
• Collaborate with the SVP and team to implement initiatives that enhance the customer experience in all aspects of deposit management.
• Oversee portfolio costs, establish control measures to manage target balances and rates, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
• Perform timely annual reviews, understand KYC/AML onboarding requirements, and follow compliance policies for institutional customers. Review customer onboarding documentation to ensure adherence to policy and risk appetite.
