As the Deputy Treasurer, you will oversee our Treasury Operations and Legal Treasury teams, playing a key role in maintaining robust bank relationships and resolving any issues that arise, whether transactional or relational. Your passion for being at the cutting edge of treasury management will drive strategic financial initiatives that keep us ahead of industry trends and secure our position as a market leader. You will be instrumental in collaborating with the Accounting and Capital Markets teams to ensure precise transaction records and develop strategies for future financing and financial reporting.
What You’ll Do
Guide internal Product & Technology teams to execute on required improvements and innovations
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with banking institutions to enhance financial operations and cost efficiencies. Negotiate terms and manage banking services and fees
Manage liquidity stress testing using in-house Anaplan models
Coordinate required cash movements based on Liquidity models and transactional needs
Assist the Capital Markets team in developing and executing strategies for capital raising and financial structuring to support company growth
Serve as the primary contact for resolving complex transactional issues within Treasury
Inspire and create a motivating environment through coaching, mentoring, and enablement
Collaborate with teams to establish short-term and long-term learning plans
Provide opportunities to participate in both formal and informal developmental activities
Working with senior leaders and department head, set expectations for all team members and hold employees accountable for results
Lead hiring, performance management, compensation, and evaluation of team members
Collaborate with Kapitus leadership and HR to continually refine and modify career growth and succession plans to meet changing business needs
Promote open dialogue and encourage challenges to the status quo
Define objectives and analyze trends and options for strategic decision-making
Manage team member hiring, performance, compensation, and evaluations, coordinating with HR as needed
Partner with leadership and HR to refine career growth and succession plans in response to evolving business needs
Hybrid work with occasional in office visits
Handle additional tasks and duties as required by management
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field
7+ years of prior treasury experience
4+ years of people management and coaching experience
Certified Treasury Professional qualification
Experience being a SME contributor for policies and procedures
Experience driving metric and quality performance
Experience with Kyriba software platform
Experience in performance management, project management, and policy and procedure writing
Additional Required Skills
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and business technology
Proficient at computing basic business math
Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability
