About the Role

We’re seeking a Digital Product Manager to help enhance the Little Spoon experience for leads, active customers, and churned customers. You'll work closely with the digital product team and cross-functional members to contribute to delivering a best-in-class experience that supports our business goals. You'll identify opportunities, develop strategies, and assist in implementing new features and experiments to improve conversion rates, retention, order rates, and average order value. You’ll be responsible for contributing to a variety of success metrics through your work. You’ll be focused on answering questions like:


  • How do we best serve this family’s needs?
  • How might we easily “graduate” customers from one age and stage to the next throughout their lifecycle? 
  • How do we drive customers to purchase the products we want them to buy? 
  • How do we make it extremely easy, flexible, and frictionless to order food and manage a subscription? 
  • How can we make this better? 
  • How can we continue to grow the business? 


Key Responsibilities 


Digital Product Planning:

  • Assist in developing and communicating Little Spoon’s digital product vision and strategy.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of the digital product roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities and customer needs.
  • Assist in defining MVPs and lead the process of gathering detailed requirements for new features.
  • Write detailed product briefs and documentation.

Digital Experience Enhancement:

  • Contribute to enhancing the customer experience as we expand our product portfolio.
  • Help address key questions to better serve families, graduate customers through lifecycle stages, and drive product purchases.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the journey for leads, active, and churned customers.

Development and Implementation:

  • Support the development process from ideation to launch.
  • Assist in prioritizing the product backlog based on impact and feasibility.
  • Write and manage tickets to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Act as the connective tissue between UX/UI, engineering, QA and a variety of other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. 

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize analytics and feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Assist in conducting A/B testing and analyzing results.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help adjust strategies accordingly.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage communication and ensure alignment with stakeholders on all digital product-related matters.
  • Work closely with marketing, analytics, and customer experience teams, and collaborate with other cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide clear, digestible and frequent updates to senior team members on progress.

Launch Initiatives and Improvements:

  • Help identify, plan and execute improvements to our experience.
  • Ensure initiatives align with business goals and customer needs.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full-time product management experience, managing digital consumer-facing experiences from ideation to post-launch iteration
  • Experience managing and shipping initiatives that have had a positive growth impact
  • Ability to build product 0-1
  • Ability to tackle complex, large-scale problems and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and understanding of best practices and levers
  • Strong executing horsepower
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated user empathy
  • Design sense
  • Ability to articulate what makes an easy, seamless, and frictionless user experience


The ideal candidate also has experience:

  • Being a product manager for a DTC business
  • Product managing subscriptions and/or ecommerce 
  • As a product manager for mobile apps
  • Working for a tech startup
  • Working with a large engineering team
