What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director, Automotive Sales based in the Central or Mountain Time Zone within our Automotive line of business. In this role, you will be responsible for finding new opportunities and increasing revenue production within your assigned sales territory. This includes the entire sales process of an integrated global payment solution to include, planning, new lead generation, developing business cases, and closing while collaborating internally with multiple teams.

This role will also work closely with the other Directors, Automotive Sales, to create scalable, repeatable growth inside this high-performing sales vertical. The Director, Automotive Sales must have a proven sales track record as a high-performing, consultative sales team member in a rapidly changing market. Our goal is to provide best in class payment solutions, software, and payment services to the Automotive, Marine, Powersports, auction, and trucking industry. You will report directly to Vice President of Automotive Sales.

Role Responsibilities

  • Self-generating & hunting new business by selling a variety of products in the automotive vertical
  • Researching and understanding the prospective client’s business goals, objectives, processes, and challenges
  • Communicating in a consultative manner recommendations effectively to the appropriate level of leadership within a prospective company
  • Building a professional network in order to build a pipeline of business prospects
  • Communicating accurate and timely forecasts to multiple levels of management
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal (Direct Team, Implementation, Marketing, Product, Partners, CS) and external resources to deliver results
  • Actively participating in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events, and campaigns
  • Being responsible and accountable for meeting required sales/revenue targets
  • Ownership of projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
  • Tracking and updating pipeline opportunities and account management via Salesforce (or other CRM)

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of full-cycle selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
  • Expert in selling Commercial Payments, SaaS software, DMS or Technology Solutions to C-level executives and/or commercial businesses
  • Strong business development and prospecting skills; ability to quickly and effectively acquire new clients
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
  • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to represent Corpay in a polished and professional manner to existing and potential clients
  • Accounting & finance practices & acumen is needed
  • Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline
  • Bachelor’s Degree of equivalent combination of education and experience
