Job Details
The facilities director will be tasked with overseeing facilities operations, managing facilities budgets, directing routine maintenance, responding to emergencies, managing risk, managing contractors, and conducting site inspections. This will include assessing work done and approving payment to contractors and vendors. The facilities director will also perform preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical systems, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, ventilation, general contracting activities, and other tasks as needed.
Candidates with hands-on experience in construction are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
3 years minimum of construction experience
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Dependable smart phone and service
Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building experience
Customer service oriented; professional and possess a good work ethic
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Self-motivated and dependable
Responsibilities:
Manage our facilities while motivating and supervising subordinates, contractors, vendors, and others as needed
Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are identified
Maintain heating, air conditioning and other mechanical systems
Perform daily maintenance and delegate as needed
