The Position:

We’re seeking an exceptional Director of Financial Aid to join our dynamic team and lead our financial aid efforts to new heights. If you’re an elite level financial aid leader with an unparalleled work ethic and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.


What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain current working knowledge of governing agency regulations including Title IV, state, and third party regulations and assist with implementation and oversight of institutional policies/procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and other governing agency regulations and provide ongoing training to staff to ensure regulatory and company policy compliance.
  • Monitor process whereby staff meet with students to apply for and secure financial aid and third party resources to cover their education expenses and oversee certification process for each third party program.
  • Ensure all financial aid paperwork is processed according to company procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation collected and financial aid documentation is adequately and permanently recorded and available when necessary.
  • Monitor and track financial aid metrics for the campus.
  • Reviews candidates, conducts interviews and works with the Vice President of Student Financial Affairs to hire staff as needed.
  • Responsible for training of the Financial Aid staff providing feedback to appropriate employees on annual employee evaluation.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive financial aid experience required.
  • Excellent management, leadership, organization and communication skills required.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in compliance, including external audits.
  • Working knowledge of financial software, Campus Nexus, preferred.
