Job Title: Director of Global Talent and Engagement

Location: Rock Hill, SC


Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Director of Global Talent and Engagement to lead our efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent across our global organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of talent management strategies, employee engagement initiatives, and cultural diversity to foster an inclusive and high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across diverse markets and functional areas.
  2. Cultivate and enhance our employer brand to position [Company Name] as an employer of choice in the industry through various channels such as social media, industry events, and networking.
  3. Design and implement talent development programs and initiatives to nurture employee growth, skill development, and career advancement opportunities.
  4. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  5. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including recognition programs, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and employee wellness programs.
  6. Promote and reinforce the company culture and core values across the organization, fostering a sense of belonging and alignment with the company's mission and objectives.
  7. Lead global talent mobility initiatives, including talent rotation programs, international assignments, and cross-functional team collaborations to leverage talent across regions and business units.
  8. Utilize data analytics and insights to assess talent trends, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of talent and engagement initiatives.
  9. Partner closely with HR business partners, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align talent and engagement strategies with business objectives and priorities.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to talent management, engagement, and diversity, ensuring compliance and alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent and engagement strategies in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate future talent needs and develop proactive solutions.
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a track record of fostering inclusive work environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
