JETCOOL Technologies is seeking a driven Director of Manufacturing & Operations to lead the product and hardware operations including purchasing, fabrication, assembly, quality, and shipping & receiving. Successful candidates will possess both the tactical ability to execute and the ability for big picture thinking. Strong preference will be given to those with a proven track record of hardware development and deployment with strong managerial and leadership skills and the ability to create an environment that promotes teamwork.

Responsibilities
Oversee fabrication, assembly, quality, purchasing, and shipping & receiving with hands-on leadership and guidance
Establishes and manages contract and outsourced manufacturing partners and programs
Troubleshoots product and/or production failures and sets corrective actions and plans
Ensures development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organizations operations division.
Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.
Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
Requirements:
B.S. required, advanced degree in a business-related field preferred
7 or more years of experience with hardware manufacturing and complex operations
Exhibits deep understanding and command of each element of the product sourcing, manufacturing, assembly, quality verification, and delivery process
Able to engage with executive stakeholders, including board members and peers at other companies
Data driven with the ability to master complex technical and hardware problems
Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement strategy that drives business results
Ability to quickly move from high level conversations into detailed operational discussions to drive business execution
